I said I'd be opening up commissions soon and I wanted to make sure to do that as soon as I started college so I could try to have some kind of income while I look for a part-time job. I've already had to spend a lot of money just on art supplies for one of my classes and I'll be spending more on textbooks so my parents don't have to bear with all the expenses. Whatever money I gain from commissions will of course be used for things such as food and transportation off campus (I don't have my own car yet) but I'd also like to put aside money to eventually pay back whatever my parents will have to spend now on my college expenses. They already had to deal with putting one kid through college and now they have to deal with putting me through it and while financial aid is a big help, it doesn't always cover everything hah. So even just buying a traditional sketch would be a great help! These portraits will be bust shots.

Traditional
Sketch: $20.00
Lineart: $25.00
Color (Shaded traditionally w/pencil and flat color added in Photoshop as seen in first two examples below): $30.00

*Also these traditional drawings are a bit outdated, the style would probably be a bit more similar to my digital stuff*
Digital
Sketch: $25.00
Lineart: $30.00
Color: $45.00

Additional Characters: +$3.00 each
Background: For colored traditional and digital portraits, the background will be done the same way as in this and this drawing. If you would like to request a specific background, there will be an additional charge that will be negotiated depending on how complicated said background is. The background will be white or transparent for both kinds of sketch and lineart portraits.

Price may be slightly increased if character(s) has very detailed design such as a complex hairstyle, many accessories, intricate design on clothing, etc.

I will start working on your commission AFTER I have received your payment. If I have to cancel your commission, I will make sure to give you a full refund. If you decide to cancel your commission 24 hours after I have received payment, you will not receive a refund because I will have already put time and effort into starting your commission. If you do not pay me 5 days after receiving your invoice, your commission will be considered canceled unless you notify me beforehand that you need an extension.

I have the right to refuse a commission. I have the right to use these commissions for self-advertisement unless discussed otherwise beforehand.

I WILL NOT draw pornographic content (but if there is nudity as part of a character design, that’s accepted), mecha, or animals. I MIGHT be willing to do anthro. For example, I could draw a cat-girl or a character with wings but when it comes to characters that have the facial structure of a wolf or legs of a cat, it starts getting a bit too difficult for me to draw well. I may still accept the commission but the price would most likely be increased in that case. Also, I do have more experience drawing girls than boys (that’s probably evident just from looking at my gallery), but I am willing to draw boys. Just know that drawing a boy may take me a little bit more time than drawing a girl.

If you are interested in commissioning me, you can send me a note on here and we will discuss things further! Also, please include your email so I can send you the invoice. Thank you!

I'm moving out and starting college in less than a month now so I'll open up commissions soon so I can start making some money. Of course, I plan to have a part-time job and I'll start applying as soon as I move but considering there's thousands of other college students with the same plan in mind, I'm not too sure if many jobs are gonna be available. Especially since I'm not gonna have a car of my own for at least my first semester, that just further limits the jobs I can apply for because I can't get a job too far from campus. Hoping for an on-campus job like working in the library or something like that but in case I can't et a job right away, I'd like to at least have commissions to fall back on. Even once I get a job, I'd like to keep doing commissions because I need to save up money for a new drawing tablet (my current one is starting to die out meh), which is obviously something I need for my animation major. I'd like to get a new one before the one I have now completely shits itself ;_;. Plus it'll be good drawing practice, not just for improving the quality of my art but improving my speed too, and I think it'd be fun getting exposed to drawing different kinds of characters. So yeah, I'll start opening up commissions soon hopefully. This journal isn't just an update for everyone but also a way to motivate myself so I won't slack off and just not do anything lol

...yeah. So I haven't been able to do much drawing-wise for nearly a year now. Kind of hah. 9-ish months give or take. I've been trying to at least draw digitally by bringing a sketchbook to school with me. Thankfully, my junior year of hs is ending for me in a little over a week (because having the last day of school be on a Monday is a great idea), so hopefully I'll be more active on here besides getting on every few weeks to just favorite stuff. Though I might be slightly busy this summer because I have to do things like take driving classes so I can get my license and I also have to work on producing drawings good enough (life drawing, still life, buildings, etc.) to be in my portfolio for college submissions. I'll still try my hardest to stay active on here though. I mean, one of the big reasons I don't post much is because I would always take too much time for just one drawing (therefore leading to a big decrease in motivation to draw at all) but I think I'm improving in terms of speed and hopefully skill as well since I've tried to work on realism and gesture drawing. So yeah, I really want to be more active on here and draw a lot this summer. Plus, I sort of need to so I can be ready to apply to colleges soon. To be honest, I don't know if I'll be able to raise my skill high enough because I've focused so much on anime-styled drawings when I should've been taking art classes to improve my drawing skills in realism ugh. In terms of academics, I should be fine. I'm just freaking out because I don't think I'm experienced enough to major in animation in college.
Anyway, sorry for venting or whatever. I always make my journals too long, sorry about that hah. Just wanted to let people know that I'll be becoming more active on here soon~

Yeah, Miza turned 3 years old today :)
I would be a lot happier if I had time to make covers much more often. Of course, because of school, I haven't been able to work on anything special this year but I am going to whip something up. Even if it's not all too fancy, I don't care too much. I don't want to go two years in a row completely ignoring my UTAU's anniversary (>implying my UTAU is a real person but whatever shut up). I have the cover mixed, and I've started a sketch for a cover art. I just want to be able to make a cover for this year's anniversary, even if it ends up being a month late or something. I dunno. We'll see.
Maybe I can finally release Miza's ACT 4 my god why haven't I released it yet what the hell
Alright, well I'm gonna go collapse on my bed because I'm extremely tired. 'Night~

Oh god yes

1 min read
Winter break. Ahh yes. And I got straight As for the semester! I was pretty worried about some of my exam grades (mainly chem and AP US history), but I got As on all my exams too. All that work payed off, thank goodness.
And now I can draw. Finally. It sucks when you have to go on hiatus because you're too busy, but hopefully I'll get some things done over break. I drew a few doodles today during exams because I got pretty bored. All I had today was French, which I finished in about 45 minutes, and TV Productions, which we had no exam for lol. I'll probably post them just so I can have something new here.
